China Daily, Fuzhou, April 21 (reporter Hu Meidong) the reporter learned from the Commerce Department of Fujian province that according to customs statistics, the three indicators of foreign trade in Fujian province in March this year all achieved positive growth, of which import and export was 109.03 billion yuan, year-on-year (the same below) growth of 2.2%, better than the national 3 percent age points; Export of 65.08 billion yuan, growth of 0.5%, better than the national 4.0 percent age points; Import of 43.95 billion yuan, growth of 4.8%, better than the national 2.4 percent age points.
According to the Department of Commerce, in the first quarter of 2020, Fujian province has completed import and export of 287.42 billion yuan in total, with a decrease of 3.6%, which is 2.8 percent age points better than that of the whole country, with a decrease of 3.3 percent age points lower than that of February, the growth rate ranks first among the top six provinces and cities in China. Among them, the export was 165.27 billion yuan, down 10.3%, which was 1.1 percent age points better than that of the whole country, and the decline was 5.9 percent age points lower than that of February -1; The import was 122.15 billion yuan, up 7.1%, which was 7.8 percent age points better than that of the whole country.
